The Branson Macbeth Project

Welcome to your wiki project.

DIRECTIONS

New Paragraphs: Each night one or two sections will be responsible for writing formal responses to the question we teachers pose on the wiki. Each member of that group will write a well-crafted paragraph that makes a clear argument and uses at least three pieces of evidence from the text.

Post-Discussion Responses:The next night (following discussion of the reading) another group of students will be responsible for reading through the comments, and choosing one to respond to with a Post-Discussion Comment. Each student will comment thoughtfully on the paragraph, offer criticsm of the argument, and cite additional evidence from the text that would either prove the argument further or disprove it. This response should be analytical, and should engage with the IDEAS of the paragraph to which it responds.

Wiki Help:

  • To post your analysis, click "Add a new comment"
  • To respond to someone else's analysis, click "Reply" under the post to which you want to respond
  • There will likely be multiple pages of comments each night; navigate these pages using the page number links at both the top and the bottom of the comments.
  • If, after trying everything you can think of, you cannot for some reason post to the wiki, you should email your teacher to explain your difficulties, and include your paragraph in your email, so your teacher can see that you have written it.
